Security Officer Full Time Rover

As a Security Officer Full Time Rover in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support visitors with strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will contribute to a professional environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach while staying adaptable and reliable in daily operations.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, riders, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, offices, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that could require attention.
- Monitor access points and public areas to help to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or disorderly conduct within the location.
- Support a professional environment within a government transportation location by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and communicating clearly with the public and site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
