Security Officer Patrol Customer Relations Job in Seattle, Washington

As a Security Officer Patrol Customer Relations in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for riders, visitors, and staff. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at transportation facilities.
- Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, vehicle access points, and surrounding perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned locations, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy concerns according to site procedures.
- Assist with directing visitors and providing general information while maintaining professional interactions with the public.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
