Security Officer Patrol Driver Full Time

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Full Time in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic retail location as an unarmed driving patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and staff. This role combines mobile patrol responsibilities with strong customer service, communication, and teamwork, reflecting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture built on integrity.

- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, monitoring activity throughout the location, and supporting appropriate emergency response activities when needed.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with local management and/or public emergency responders as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront corridors, exterior perimeters, and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas for unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, and document security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Assist with crowd and/or traffic flow during busy shopping periods, special events, and store opening or closing activities while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
