Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Support

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Support in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. In this dynamic role, you will support access awareness, communicate clearly with tenants and guests, and bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and report unusual conditions, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
- Support daily operations by assisting with directions, visitor inquiries, and incident reporting while maintaining awareness of building activity and following Allied Universal post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
