Security Officer Patrol Driver Customer Service Job in Sewell, New Jersey

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Customer Service in Sewell, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a government parks and recreation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism and courtesy. This driving post offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to site needs while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and program participants by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at public parks and recreation locations.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of park grounds, trails, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to recreation facilities and restricted areas, assist with visitor directions and park rules, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
- Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be able to lift more than 20 lbs, preferred.
- Have customer service experience, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
