As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and use computer or tablet tools as needed. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare manufacturing location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, restricted-access points, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly access to the facility.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
