As a Security Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas and remaining visible to help to deter potential security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and address any security-related concerns.
  • Monitor and report any irregularities, suspicious activity, or security-related hazards as observed during patrols or while stationed within the healthcare location.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and helping to direct individuals to appropriate areas as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific emergency procedures when required.
  • Provide visible presence within the healthcare setting to help to deter potential disruptions and promote a secure environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be able to work in environments where vaccines are present, in morgue areas, and restrain individuals as required.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
