Security Officer Full Time Driver Visitor Management Job in Shreveport, Louisiana

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Visitor Management in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and help maintain a controlled environment for personnel and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use technology to support site operations. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct individuals to appropriate check-in locations.
- Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity or facility concerns.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership while documenting security-related incidents, observations, and access-control activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
