As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and stakeholders. You will support a welcoming, orderly environment while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, substations, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and assist with emergency response activities as directed.
- Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations or security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
