As a Security Officer Full Time Overnight in SOMERSET, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while bringing a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative approach to every shift.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, common areas, and perimeter to help identify suspicious activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report discrepancies, unauthorized entry attempts, and/or maintenance concerns.
- Complete required reports and document daily activity, incidents, and/or observations while supporting emergency response procedures when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
