As a Security Professional - Financial Patrol Specialist in South Richmond Hill, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer within a prominent financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will engage with clients, visitors, and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by performing security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
• Carry out regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to observe for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
• Respond promptly and calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols and utilizing problem-solving skills.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas of the financial institution to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other security-related incidents.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to patrol activities, incidents, and security-related observations.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to support a security-related presence and uphold site policies.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, maintaining communication with supervisors and/or local authorities as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have prior supervisory experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
