Security Officer Mobile Driver Job in Southport, North Carolina

As a Security Officer Mobile Driver in Southport, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, residents, and transportation personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transportation facilities, terminals, access points, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions requiring attention.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Assist with traffic flow, visitor direction, and communication with onsite personnel while maintaining a professional presence and supporting security-related operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
