What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and other security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points for people, vehicles, and/or deliveries, helping to control authorized access and report suspicious, unusual, and/or unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Document visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle information, maintain required logs, and communicate relevant access activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing shipping, receiving, parking, and other operational areas for security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
