As a Dispatch Security Professional at a utilities location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, support access control, and respond to security-related needs. You will help maintain an organized environment through clear communication, professional customer service, and teamwork. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Receive, document, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
- Monitor communication systems, alarm activity, access-related systems, and site conditions; maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and dispatch records.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating timely information to site leadership and relevant responders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
