Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver Job in Sparks, Nevada

As a Security Officer Full Time Vehicle Patrol Driver in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and use technology to document security-related activities. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a data center location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior areas, perimeter, access points, and parking areas to help identify unusual conditions and support site operations.
- Monitor access activity and follow visitor, contractor, and delivery protocols in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established channels.
- Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications with accurate details.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
