Security Officer Patrol Associate

As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Spokane, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy government transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support riders, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, offices, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual conditions in accordance with site procedures.
- Support orderly operations by assisting members of the public with directions and general information while maintaining awareness of security-related conditions throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
