Security Officer Patrol Screening
As a Security Officer Patrol Screening in Spring, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Allied Universal professional at a dynamic utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support site operations through strong customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will work with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, bringing integrity and a people-first approach to every shift.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, gates, and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.
- Support site operations by following post orders, communicating with onsite personnel and/or visitors, and assisting with security-related requests as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
