Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a utilities location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations with strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working as part of a caring team that leads with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
- Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and communicate with employees, visitors, and/or contractors regarding site expectations and procedures.
- Support daily operations by observing equipment areas, entry points, and restricted spaces, helping to report maintenance, trespassing, and/or other security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
