Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail and entertainment location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access practices, and security-related response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout attractions, retail areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Assist with monitoring entrances, exits, and high-traffic guest areas, helping to manage visitor flow, address questions, and support security-related protocols.
- Observe and report maintenance issues, policy violations, and suspicious behavior, and/or provide assistance during emergency situations in accordance with site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
