As a Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support access control and site procedures while working collaboratively with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
- Support the protection of personnel, property, and sensitive operations by following established post orders and escalating concerns through designated channels.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
