As a Security Officer - Financial Front Desk Monitor in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, providing outstanding customer service while assisting with access control and security-related procedures. You will help to deter unwanted incidents by maintaining a professional presence, managing entry or exit points, and utilizing computer or tablet systems for visitor management. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a financial institution location.
  • Monitor access to the premises, verify identification, and issue visitor passes as needed to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor logs at the front desk.
  • Communicate and collaborate with site staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and/or emergency response activities.
  • Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while stationed at the front desk to help to deter potential issues and support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in a security-related role.
  • Must be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
