As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Operations in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Your professional presence will help create a secure, welcoming environment for employees and guests. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
- Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from the reception area, reporting unusual activity or equipment concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
- Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general information, and support a professional, controlled lobby environment while helping to deter unauthorized access.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
