As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in STAFFORD, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, helping to identify and respond to security-related concerns while remaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and site personnel by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, operational concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, reporting details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to identify unusual activity and support site rules.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery traffic, assisting with access control procedures, credential checks, and/or documentation of security-related incidents.
- Observe conditions across the location and communicate maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel while completing required patrol logs and incident reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
