As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and engage professionally with everyone on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to provide support and assistance.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry and exit to designated areas as directed by site policies.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, visitors, and fellow team members while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
