Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will be part of an agile, reliable team that puts people first, works together, and acts with integrity every day.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, boarding areas, waiting areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify authorized access when required, and assist with crowd flow during boarding, disembarking, and other high-traffic periods.
- Support day-to-day operations by observing passenger activity, providing directions and information, and communicating professionally with the public and/or site personnel regarding security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
