As a Security Officer Field Patrol Driver in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions as directed by site policies, and report access-related issues, suspicious behavior, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support site operations by assisting with visitor processing, following post orders, and maintaining awareness of sensitive areas, equipment spaces, and other restricted locations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
