Security Officer - Dispatch Communications

Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional in a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate responses to security-related concerns, and support access and communication across the property. - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, phones, radios, and/or other communication systems from the dispatch post, document activity, and relay information to on-site personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations by receiving reports, prioritizing calls, dispatching appropriate personnel, and following established site protocols.
- Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, visitor information, and other dispatch records to support daily operations and security-related response efforts.
- Conduct regular and random patrol coordination around the business and perimeter by communicating with field personnel, tracking status updates, and helping to deter unauthorized activity through timely reporting and follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
