Security Officer - Dispatch Operations

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Operations in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a dynamic tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will play a key role in communication and coordination, responding to incidents and providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and coordinate all incoming and outgoing communications within the location to support security-related operations.
• Dispatch security personnel to specific areas as needed based on incidents, alarms, or requests for assistance.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of all communications, incidents, and activities occurring during the shift.
• Assist in controlling access to the location by monitoring entry and exit points through electronic systems or visual confirmation.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Collaborate with on-site security personnel to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by addressing inquiries and assisting with security-related concerns.
• Support emergency response activities and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
