As a Security Officer - Distribution Center Screener in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for all staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Conduct screening of personnel and/or vehicles entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and prohibited items.
• Carry out security-related procedures in line with site-specific policies, including the inspection of packages, bags, and shipments to support compliance with client requirements.
• Provide customer service to individuals at the location by offering guidance and information as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as required.
• Document screening activities and report any irregularities or concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
• Support emergency response activities according to established protocols when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
