In this unarmed patrol position, your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. You will be relied upon for your strong communication skills and ability to respond professionally to various situations. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the grounds using a company vehicle as needed. Pay Rate: $18.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational campus and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Work collaboratively with staff, students, and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings within the educational location and remain alert to any unusual situations or conditions.
• Follow all Allied Universal protocols and guidelines while performing assigned duties at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license in the job state is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
