Security Officer Driver Site Patrol Job in Sturgis, Michigan

As a Security Officer Driver Site Patrol in Sturgis, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and access-control concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and maintaining a professional presence in patient-care and public-facing areas.
- Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain required activity logs while following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
