As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech-focused locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Your presence and proactive approach will contribute to a secure environment for all visitors and staff. You will interact with people regularly, providing outstanding customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit of personnel and visitors.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related concerns within the location.
• Document and communicate incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance needs as observed during patrols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and/or site personnel to address security-related matters as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
