As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout a bustling retail location. Your presence and attention to detail will support a secure environment, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and communication will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike. This is a driving post, where you will primarily patrol the premises by vehicle, embodying our values of reliability, agility, and teamwork as you play a key role in maintaining a positive experience for everyone at the location.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a welcoming environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting theft or property damage.
• Collaborate with store management and/or Allied Universal staff to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Primarily driving post is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
