Security Officer Highway 108 Job in Sulphur, Louisiana

As a Security Officer Highway 108 in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and TSA-issued TWIC. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report access-control concerns to site leadership.
- Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
