Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Summit Point, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic outdoor location where you will monitor access points, conduct armed patrols, and respond to security-related concerns while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is an armed driving post, offering the chance to stay active, support daily operations, and make an impact through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- 21+ Years of Age
- 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience
- Armed DCJS or Equivalent Firearms Certification is REQUIRED to qualify for this position
- Valid Driver's License with a least 1 year of driving experience

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry, while documenting observations, incidents, and security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
- Perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with company policies, licensing requirements, and site-specific instructions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
