Security Officer Full Time Patrol Agent

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Agent in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service, communicate with professionalism, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity every day.

- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and customer assistance practices within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors, common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor assigned areas for trespassing, loitering, theft-related activity, and/or other suspicious behavior, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Support emergency response activities, assist with crowd and/or queue observation during busy periods, and document daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations in required reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
