What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential hazards or maintenance issues.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as required by site policies, and support visitor and/or vehicle screening processes for authorized access.
- Assist with enforcing location rules related to restricted areas, after-hours access, and incident reporting while maintaining a professional presence throughout the facility.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and a rustic guard shack.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
