Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Representative

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Representative in Swedesboro, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post orders, and responding to emergency and/or unusual situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, facility concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including production, warehouse, loading, parking, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, and deliveries, verify credentials and/or visitor logs as directed, and report policy deviations or suspicious behavior.
- Support a clean, professional presence at a food and beverage location by remaining attentive to changing conditions, communicating with site personnel, and following Allied Universal standards and site-specific policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
