Security Officer Concierge Desk

As a Security Officer Concierge Desk in Syracuse, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional financial institution location as a Front Desk Security Officer, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. In this stationary role, you will help with security-related concerns while reflecting our values of reliability, teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach in every interaction.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following site-specific policies, managing front desk activity, and supporting security-related procedures at a financial institution location.
- Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access through professional presence and attention to front desk protocols.
- Answer questions, direct guests to appropriate contacts, maintain visitor logs and/or related records, and communicate clearly with staff regarding arrivals, deliveries, and front desk concerns.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related issues according to site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including notifying appropriate personnel, documenting events, and assisting with orderly communication during developing situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
