Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver

You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes, helping to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or permissions, and support visitor and vehicle screening in accordance with site policies and post orders.
- Support emergency and weather-related response activities, assist with de-escalation when needed, and coordinate with site contacts, first responders, and/or local law enforcement as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
