What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, employees, and contractors, verifying identification and access authorization, and directing guests in accordance with site-specific policies.
- Support security-related procedures for a financial services location by monitoring visitor activity, maintaining accurate visitor logs, issuing temporary credentials, and coordinating access requests.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Monitor front desk communications, including phone, radio, and email inquiries, and promptly relay security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Maintain a professional front desk presence that helps to deter unauthorized access while providing courteous assistance to clients, visitors, and employees.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
