As a Screener with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, greeting visitors, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter prohibited items and unauthorized access, following established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.
• Remain alert to potential security-related concerns within the location and report observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all Allied Universal and client site protocols to support a secure and welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
