Security Officer Full Time Driver Job in Tarrytown, New York

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver in Tarrytown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a leading healthcare location, you will greet visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment through clear communication, professionalism, and integrity while supporting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at a front desk within a healthcare and pharmaceutical location by following site-specific procedures, visitor-management protocols, and security-related policies.
- Greet, screen, and direct visitors, contractors, and employees; verify identification and credentials; and maintain accurate visitor records in accordance with site requirements.
- Monitor access to the facility, issue visitor badges and/or access credentials as authorized, and help to deter unauthorized entry by reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Answer phones, provide directions and general site information, maintain a professional front-desk presence, and communicate relevant security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A New York State Security Guard License is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
