As a Security Officer - Unarmed Industrial Patrol in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, supporting a secure environment for employees and guests, and providing exceptional customer service through clear communication and a helpful attitude. Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
• Document and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or incidents encountered during patrols or while on duty.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
