Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Job in Tempe, Arizona

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a caring environment through teamwork, professionalism, and integrity while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a healthcare-related manufacturing location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and documentation.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
- Report hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and security-related incidents to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least six months of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
