As a Security Officer Access Control in Temperanceville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access within the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Support access control operations for a food and beverage location by monitoring deliveries, checking incoming and outgoing traffic, and maintaining accurate visitor and/or vehicle logs.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to access points, restricted areas, and other security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A current guard card or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
