What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies while maintaining a professional presence.
• Carry out regular and random armed patrols in and around retail and mall locations to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills and adhering to established protocols.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Communicate with clients, employees, and visitors to provide assistance and address security-related concerns as needed.
• Prepare and submit incident reports detailing observations, actions taken, and outcomes as required by Allied Universal policies.
• Support emergency response activities and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for roles in Texas.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
