As a Security Guard - Media Building Patrol in Terre Haute, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact professionally with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor the location for any unusual activity and report observations according to established procedures.
• Assist in emergency response activities as directed, supporting the overall security-related operations at the site.
• Maintain clear and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during patrols.
• Collaborate with team members and site management to address client needs and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
