As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual conditions or potential hazards within the location.
• Assist with controlling access to restricted areas, verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management and the client’s staff regarding security-related matters.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal’s protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
