As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service with clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both internal areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards, documenting all security-related incidents according to company policy.
• Communicate clearly and courteously with students, staff, and visitors, offering assistance and guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local authorities when required to manage security-related incidents.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with security-related procedures and protocols relevant to an educational environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
